Neeta Lulla’s stunning collection called “Radha” glided down the runway at Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2012 yesterday. Inspired by the beautiful Radha, the symbol of true love, Neeta’s collection was a work of intense beauty in traditional style.
Giving a great blend of the East and West, Neeta combined the silhouettes of gowns for the ghagras to produce a wonderful fusion story. The colour palette related perfectly to the theme as Neeta remained true to the traditional shade card for her creations.
The colour combos were regal as trios like raani pink/purple/orange and saffron/emerald/ fuchsia worked well.
Veteran actress Hema Malini also performed as Radha at the beginning of the show looking fabulous in a dark purple lehenga choli and light purple net dupatta embroidered in gold.
